The Highway Rat Books
The Highway Rat book comes from the wonderful minds that brought you the likes of one of the nation's beloved bedtime tales, The Gruffalo. Written in 2011 by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by longtime collaborator Axel Scheffler, the Highway Rat follows the mischevious adventure of a greedy rat. He gallops along the highway stealing other animals' food but his sweet tooth sees him get into a spot of bother.
